Analysis of Community Acceptance of Minapadi Innovation in Meat Village Tampahan District Toba Regency
Abstract
The agricultural sector plays an important role in the Indonesian economy, especially in rural areas where most of the population depends on farming. In facing modern challenges, agricultural innovation is needed that can increase efficiency, productivity, and sustainability. One form of innovation that is starting to be widely introduced is the minapadi system. Rice paddy farming aims to increase land productivity without sacrificing ecological sustainability. Through this farming pattern, farmers can utilize land optimally and get two sources of income at once, namely rice and fish. This innovation aims to increase farmers' income through diversification of farming, improving soil structure, and reducing pest attacks naturally. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling. This study used the TAM model with data analysis techniques used were instrument testing, classical assumption testing, and multiple linear regression testing. The analysis results can be concluded that the Meat Village community generally showed positive acceptance of minapadi innovation. The four independent variables (X) were proven to simultaneously have a significant effect on the dependent variable (Y) with an R Square value of 85,2%.
