dc.description.abstractGanoderma boninense is one of the pathogenic fungi of the Ganoderma genus. This fungus is the main pathogen that attacks oil palm plantations in Indonesia. One technique for controlling Ganoderma fungi is to use silver nanoparticles (AgNP). AgNP is a solution known to be effective in inhibiting many types of pathogenic fungi, including G. boninense. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of AgNP synthesized from the secondary metabolites of T. harzianum mixed with silver nitrate (AgNO₃). The study was conducted at the Plant Disease Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara. This study employed a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) factorial. The first factor in this study was the testing method, namely mixing and dual culture. The second factor was the treatment dose, which included control, Mancozeb 80%, Nanofungicide 1:4, 1:5, 1:10, 1:20, and Oleic Acid 820 g/l. The results showed that T. harzianum nanoparticle solutions were able to inhibit the growth of G. boninense in vitro. The inhibitory effect varied across treatments, with the highest inhibitory effect observed in nanoparticles synthesized at a ratio of 1:5, exhibiting an inhibitory capacity of 21.75%.en_US
