Status Kesuburan Tanah dan Penentuan Rekomendasi N, P, dan K Lahan Sawah di Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan

Abstract

MHD ARIEF BUDIMAN (200301155) with the title "Soil Fertility Status and Determination of Recommended N, P, and K Fertilizers for Paddy Fields in Percut Sei Tuan District." This research was (Supervised by Mrs. Dr. Ir. Hamidah Hanum, M.P.) Rice is one of the leading commodities in Deli Serdang Regency. Percut Sei Tuan District is one of the centers of paddy field production in Deli Serdang Regency, with a production of 56,680.0 tons/ha. One of the challenges facing paddy field production is declining production and land area. This study aims to determine the characteristics of soil fertility in paddy fields in Percut Sei Tuan District and determine fertilizer recommendations for paddy fields in Percut Sei Tuan District based on the status and types of planted varieties. This research was conducted using a survey method, taking 25 soil samples as research material. This research was conducted from October 2024 to June 2025. The status of rice field soil fertility in Percut Sei Tuan District is included in the medium category but one village is included in the low category, namely Tanjung Rejo village and one village is included in the high category, namely Bandar Klippa village. Fertilization recommendations based on the total soil Nitrogen nutrient status are 271.74 kg Urea/ha except for Bandar Klippa village as much as 163.04 kg Urea/ha. Fertilization recommendations for P and K based on soil nutrient status and a yield target of 5 tons/ha in Percut Sei Tuan District are for K of 38.34 kg KCl/ha, for P of 85.93 kg SP-36/ha except in Saentis and Sambi rejo villages of 110.93 kg SP- 36/ha and in Tanjung Rejo, Percut and Laut Dendang villages of 160.93 kg SP- 36/ha Fertilization recommendations for P and K based on the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture No. 13 of 2022 The recommended fertilizer requirement for fertilizer (K) is 50 kg KCl/ha, and for fertilizer (P) it is 50 kg SP-36/ha, except in Saentis and Sambi Rejo villages, where the recommended fertilizer is 75 kg SP- 36/ha, and in Tanjung Rejo, Percut, and Laut Dendang villages, where the recommended fertilizer is 100 kg SP-36/ha.
