| dc.description.abstract | This intelligent apple sorting system is designed to optimize post-harvest processing by automating color sorting. Using an Arduino Uno microcontroller as the control center and a TCS34725 color sensor as the primary sensor, the system is able to detect apple color nuances in greater detail. The obtained color data is then processed using the K-NN algorithm to classify apples into several color categories. Actuators connected to the Arduino Uno will direct the apples to the appropriate bins based on the classification results. This system was developed to overcome the limitations of manual sorting methods that are inefficient, inaccurate, and require a large amount of labor. The system works by automatically detecting apple color, classifying them using a simple algorithm, and directing the apples to the appropriate sorting bin using servo motors. Sorting data is also sent in real time to the Telegram application via ESP32-CAM. Test results show that this system is able to sort green and red apples with fairly good accuracy, and can report directly to the user. The use of the TCS34725 sensor allows the system to distinguish more complex apple color variations, resulting in more accurate and consistent sorting results. | en_US |
