dc.description.abstract | The availability of clean water in coastal areas is a critical issue that is increasingly complicated by seawater intrusion. This study aims to analyze the impact of seawater intrusion on the physical and chemical characteristics of groundwater, specifically in bore wells and conventional wells in Dusun 1 Village, Pantai Cermin Kiri, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a comparative study approach, involving water sampling from five bore wells, five conventional wells, and one seawater sample as a reference. The tested parameters include pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), salinity, and manganese (Mn) concentration. | en_US |
