Conceptual Design of Pyrolyzer System Multiple Condenser Biomass Nipah Fruit Peel (Nypa fruticans W.) Room Temperatured Based
Abstract
The use of renewable energy is becoming increasingly important in the midst of the global energy crisis and climate change. One potential source of renewable energy is biomass. Nipah fruit peel is a potential biomass in Indonesia that has not been optimally utilized. This waste is rich in cellulose and lignin, making it a potential raw material to be processed into a product with a selling value such as liquid smoke. Multiple condenser system pyrolysators have the potential to increase the productivity and quality of liquid smoke from nipah fruit peels. This study aims to design and analyze the performance of the pyrolysizer of the nipah fruit peel biomass multiple condenser system. The method used is the prototype method, namely by creating digital models and simulating designs using solidworks software. The overall dimensions of the tool are 201 cm long, 80 cm wide and 150 cm high. In static simulations, the greatest stress, displacement and strain occurred in the overall tool frame with values of 20.957 MPa, 0.297 mm and 7.992 x 10^-4, respectively. The safety factor value of each component is 8 which indicates a high level of safety in bearing loads. This design is feasible to proceed to the tool manufacturing stage because the resulting deformation is less than the strength of the material.
