The Influence of Socio-Economic Aspects on the Environmental Quality Index in Indonesia
Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of Population Density, Foreign Direct Investment, and the Number of Industries on the Environmental Quality Index in Indonesia from 2018 to 2022.
This study uses secondary data obtained from Badan Pusat Statistik Indonesia. The analysis technique used is panel data regression with a Random Effects Model.
The results show that Population Density and the Number of Industries have a negative and significant effect on the Environmental Quality Index in 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2018 to 2022. Meanwhile, Foreign Direct Investment does not have a significant effect on the Environmental Quality Index in 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2018 to 2022.
