Nurse scheduling is a common problem in hospitals, making it crucial to devise an optimal schedule for maintaining the quality of healthcare services in hospitals. This study proposes an optimization model for nurse scheduling in the postpatrum and Pediatric Wards of RSU Mitra Medika Amplas using the Goal Programming approach, implemented with LINGO software. The model is designed to fulfill nine mandatory main constraints and four additional flexible constraints, with the aim of distributing tasks fairly and efficiently. Implementation results show that the previous manual schedule had 20 constraint violations. By applying Goal Programming, these violations were successfully minimized to achieve an optimal solution without any violations, reducing the number of violations from 20 to 0. Thus, the applied Goal Programming model is capable of producing a work schedule that is more systematic, balanced, and aligned with operational needs compared to the manual method.en_US
