Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) can lower a patient’s quality of life and nutritional health. The family plays a crucial role in enhancing the patient’s well-being and boosting their nutritional intake, which help support the recovery process of those with pulmonary TB. This research aim the determine the effect of family-based supportive educative intervention on the changes in quality of life and nutritional status of pulmonary TB patients in the working area of Bandar Khalifah Health Center. This study uses quasy- experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group approach. The study involved 62 respondents divided into two groups. The intervention group (n=31) and the control group (n=32), selected through purposive sampling. Quality of life was assessed using aWHOQOL-BREF queistionaire and nutritional status was measured through Body Mass Index (BMI). Statistical analysis using the independent t-test revealed significant differences the control and intervention groups following the family-based supportive educative intervention. The results showed a p-value 0,00 for quality of life and 0,006 for nutritional status. Indicated that intervention had a significant and positive effect on patient with pulmonary TB. Conclusion: family based-supportive educative intervention effectively improves the quality of life and nutritional status of pulmonary TB patients. Thus intervention is recommended for implementation in healthcare settings to aid the recovery of pulmonary TB patients.
