This study aims to analyze the influence of age at first marriage, family economic status, and duration of contraceptive use on fertility (number of children) among couples of reproductive age (CRA) in Sei Sikambing B Village, Medan Sunggal District, Medan City. This research employed a quantitative method with a multiple linear regression approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents and processed using SPSS version 26. The results show that simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly affect fertility (p = 0.000). Partially, only age at first marriage does not have a significant effect on fertility (p = 0.304), while family economic status (p = 0.048) and duration of contraceptive use (p = 0.000) have a significant effect. The Adjusted R² value of 0.523 indicates that only 52.3% of the variation in fertility can be explained by the model, while the remaining 47.7% is influenced by other factors outside the model. These findings suggest that family economic status and duration of contraceptive use are important factors in determining the number of children, whereas age at first marriage is not sufficiently strong to explain fertility variation in the context of densely populated urban areas.en_US
