| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to find out what speech acts are in the animated film Upin and Ipin and to find out the most dominant types of speech acts in the dialog of the animated film Upin dan Ipin in season 15. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method by describing the types of speech acts contained in the speech acts of the animated film Upin and Ipin season 15. The theory used is the theory of pragmatic speech acts by Yule George. The results of the study show that in terms of the form of speech acts, conversations in the dialog of the animated drama script Upin and Ipin, there are three forms of speech acts, namely locutionary acts, illocutionary acts, and perlocutionary acts. Based on locutionary acts, there are 438 utterances, 605 illocutionary acts and 317 perlocutionary acts. One (1) example of conversation data leads to constant, one (1) example of conversation data leads to directive, one (1) example of conversation data leads to commissive and one (1) example of conversation data leads to acknowledgment. The conclusion of the research is that the conversation in the drama script dialogue of Upin dan Ipin, there are 1360 utterances each of which contains 438 locutionary acts, 605 illocutionary acts and 317 perlocutionary utterances. | en_US |
