    Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the level of radiation exposure received by radiation workers in the North Sumatra region during the period from September 2022 to November 2024. In addition, the study aimed to observe trends in annual dose variation and to evaluate whether the exposure levels remained within the safety limits established by BAPETEN. The sample consisted of 286 workers randomly selected from a total of 1,012 workers whose data were recorded at BPAFK Medan. The research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, using quarterly monitoring data obtained from Thermoluminescent Dosimeters (TLDs). The collected data were classified into two observation years and analyzed based on average, maximum, and minimum values, as well as changes between years. The results indicated that no workers received doses exceeding the annual limit of 20 mSv, with average doses remaining below 1 mSv. Some workers experienced an increase in dose, while others showed a decrease. These findings highlight the importance of regular dose monitoring as part of efforts to maintain consistent radiation safety for personnel working in radiation-utilizing institutions.
