This study aimed to analyzes the factors that influence the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) in Central Tapanuli Regency (2018-2023) using Multiple Linear Regression. Independent variables include Gross Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita, Human Development Index (HDI), and Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR). The Classical Assumption Test results show that the regression model is valid. GRDP per capita, HDI, and LFPR have a positive effect on OUR, with LFPR6 as the most significant factor. However, the simultaneous effect of the three variables is not significant. The model is able to explain 63.9% of the variation in LFPR, while the rest is influenced by other factors. There is a strong positive relationship between LFPR and GRDP per capita, and a weak negative relationship with HDI and TPAK.en_US
