    Abstract
Background: Plot is an important element in a film because it serves as a framework that determines the development of the story and the audience's experience. Greg Jardin's film It's What's Inside (2024) offers a unique concept of body swapping packaged in the genres of thriller, dark comedy, and science fiction. The complexity of the plot and the dynamics of the characters in this film present a challenge for analysis using classic structural models such as Freytag's Pyramid. Objective: This study aims to describe the plot structure of the film It's What's Inside (2024) based on Freytag's Pyramid and explain how the plot twist at the end of the story is supported by the type of plot used. Method: The method used is qualitative descriptive. Data was collected from the film, script, critic reviews, and audience discussions on online media. The analysis was conducted by dividing the story into the five stages of Freytag's Pyramid: exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. Resultss: The results of the study show that this film clearly follows the structure of Freytag's Pyramid. The beginning introduces the eight main characters at a wedding party. The conflict escalates when the body-swapping machine is used, reaching its peak when the balcony collapses and kills two characters. The falling action reveals Beatrice's manipulation, and the resolution closes the story with a surprising ending. The plot type used is an ensemble plot with added elements of mystery and thriller. Conclusion: The film It's What's Inside (2024) successfully combines modern ideas with a classic structure. The story not only presents the conflict of body swapping, but also reveals the dark side, secrets, and identities of the characters. This proves that Freytag's classic Pyramid model is still relevant for analyzing films with new and unique concepts.
