Stroke is an acute neurological emergency and one of the leading causes of disability and mortality in several countries worldwide. One of the main nursing problems in post-stroke clients is impaired physical mobility, which can lead to dependency and decreased quality of life. Permanent disability can be prevented through range of motion (ROM) exercises. ROM exercises are an essential non-pharmacological intervention in rehabilitation to improve joint mobility and minimize disability due to stroke. This senior practicum aims to analyze the effectiveness of active and passive ROM exercises in addressing impaired physical mobility in post-stroke clients. The method used is a comprehensive nursing care approach applied to three post-stroke clients with mobility impairments. The success indicator is measured by comparing the range of motion before and after the intervention using a goniometer. Evaluation results showed an increase in ROM in all three clients, although the level of effectiveness varied depending on the client's initial condition and compliance with the exercises. Clients who were cooperative, compliant, and received full family support showed better improvements in joint mobility. Active and passive ROM exercises have proven to be effective as a supportive nursing intervention in overcoming mobility impairments in post-stroke clients. This therapy can serve as a beneficial nursing strategy to enhance mobility and functional independence during the rehabilitation process.en_US
