Biogas is one of the alternative fuel sources that has the potential to replace fossil fuels whose reserves are increasingly depleted. With the depletion of fossil fuels and the high demand for fuel, there needs to be a renewable fuel that can replace fossil fuels. The use of biogas that is widely used so far is based on livestock manure. This study aims to obtain the value of the increase in electrical power produced by a biogas-fueled generator with the use of a sulfur filter, as well as to obtain the characteristic values of the biogas produced. The method used in this study is to ferment cow dung and rice straw with a C/N (Carbon/Nitrogen) ratio, namely with a C/N ratio of 26, 28 and 30 calculated using the Goal Seek feature in Microsoft Excel. The results of the study showed that cow dung and rice straw that had been fermented for 21 days with an average temperature of 29.42oC, an average pH of 6.32, the largest gas mass obtained was 460,64 g, the electrical power produced was an average of 199 Watts and the best rotation speed of the generator is 277,2 rpm.en_US
