Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of Product Market Competition,
Disclosure of Related Party Transactions, Cash Flow Rights, and Institutional
Ownership on Related Party Transactions in manufacturing companies listed
on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2020–2023. This research is
associative-causal in nature with a quantitative approach. The type of data used
is secondary data from the financial statements of manufacturing companies for
the 2020–2023 period obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The
population of the study consists of 239 companies, and the sample was selected
using purposive sampling, resulting in 40 companies with a total of 200
observations. The data analysis techniques employed in this study include
descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, panel regression analysis, and
hypothesis testing using the EViews application. The results of this study
demonstrate that, partially, Product Market Competition has a negative and
significant effect on Related Party Transactions; Disclosure of Related Party
Transactions has no effect on Related Party Transactions; Cash Flow Rights
have a positive and significant effect on Related Party Transactions; and
Institutional Ownership has a positive and significant effect on Related Party
Transactions
