Employee performance at the Representative Office of BPKP North Sumatra Province has not yet shown optimal results, as indicated by several unmet organizational and individual performance targets. The underlying factors include the lack of leadership roles in exploring new work methods and the mismatch between individuals and their job demands. This study aims to determine the effect of Ambidextrous Leadership and Person-Job Fit on Employee Performance through Innovative Work Behavior at the Representative Office of BPKP North Sumatra Province. This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were collected using a survey method through questionnaires. The population consisted of all auditors working at the Representative Office of BPKP North Sumatra Province, totaling 125 auditors, with a saturated sampling technique. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with Smart PLS version 3.0 as the analysis tool. The results showed that Ambidextrous Leadership has a positive and significant effect on both Employee Performance and Innovative Work Behavior. Likewise, Person-Job Fit also has a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance and Innovative Work Behavior. Innovative Work Behavior is identified as the most dominant variable, having a positive and significant impact on Employee Performance while also serving as a mediating variable that strengthens the influence of Ambidextrous Leadership and Person- Job Fit on Employee Performance.en_US
