    Abstract
The IoT-based weather monitoring system is designed to provide real-time information on changing weather conditions to the public, which can be easily accessed by anyone via the web. The system utilizes a combination of sensors, including a Rain Drop Water Sensor, a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR), and a DHT22 sensor for temperature and humidity measurement. These sensors work together to determine weather conditions such as sunny, cloudy, or rainy. Weather classification is based on sensor data: sunny conditions are indicated when the LDR's ADC value is below 50, while values above 50 suggest cloudy weather. Rain is detected when the rain sensor module outputs values between 100–750, while non-rainy conditions typically show an average ADC value around 1013. The data is sent to a server and updated every second on a web-based platform, with all weather data stored in the form of statistical records. Successful data transmission occurs when the NodeMCU has a stable internet connection, with an average speed above 100 kbps. If the internet speed falls below this threshold, the data is not fully transmitted to the server. During testing, the system successfully transmitted 87.7% of the sensor data to the server.
