dc.description.abstractProfessional Nursing Study Program Fkep USU Senior practice is a course in the Ners professional program, Faculty of Nursing, University of North Sumatra, which aims to improve student skills in applying nursing theories and concepts directly. One of the competencies developed is the provision of nursing care independently, from assessment to evaluation. In this practice, the focus of management is aimed at post-SC postpartum women who experience ineffective breastfeeding. One of the nursing problems commonly experienced by mothers after post partum is ineffective breastfeeding. Ineffective breastfeeding is a condition where the mother and baby experience dissatisfaction or difficulty in the breastfeeding process. One way to overcome this is with breast care. The purpose of the practice is to provide nursing care to three post SC mothers in the maternity room of Prof.Dr.Chairuddin Hospital, University of North Sumatra who experience ineffective breastfeeding with ineffective breastfeeding education interventions with breast care to help a mother in giving breast milk to her baby. Practice was carried out on June 14-21, 2025 for three consecutive days on three patients. The evaluation results showed an increase in breast milk production, and the mother understood breast care and taught pumping techniques.en_US
