    Abstract
This study aims to examine the influence of Adversity Quotient on Career Adaptability among Generation Z. Generation Z represents a productive age group raised in the digital era and faces a rapidly changing and uncertain job market. The ability to adapt to career changes is crucial, and Adversity Quotient is considered one of the supporting factors in enhancing such readiness. This research employed a quantitative causal approach involving 346 Generation Z respondents aged 18–27 years who have been employed for at least two years. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data were collected using the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS) and an Adversity Quotient scale based on Stoltz’s theory. The data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The results show a significant positive influence of Adversity Quotient on Career Adaptability, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a coefficient of determination of 10.7%. These findings indicate that the higher the Adversity Quotient an individual possesses, the higher their career adaptability. This study highlights the importance of developing mental resilience and psychological strength to better prepare and equip Generation Z to face career challenges in an unpredictable world of work
