Pengaruh Pupuk Kandang Ayam dan Eco Enzyme terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Kacang Hijau (Vigna radiata L.)
Effect of Chicken Manure and Eco Enzyme on Growth and Production of Mung Beans (Vigna radiata L.)
Abstract
The decline in mung bean production can be improved by doing various ways such as the use of organic fertilizers derived from agricultural waste such as eco enzyme, manure, green manure, and compost as a substitute for nutrient sources. This study aims to determine the effect of chicken manure and eco enzyme on the growth and production of mung bean plants. This research was conducted in the Imperial Residence street Bakaran Batu, Lubuk Pakam with an altitude of ± 15 meters above sea level, starting in Oktober 2024 until Januari 2025,, using a randomized group design with 2 factors. The first factor was the dose of chicken manure application consisting of control, 10 tons/ha, 20 tons/ha, and 30 tons/ha, and the second factor was the concentration of eco enzyme application consisting of control, 1.5%, and 3%. The results showed that the application treatment of chicken manure had a significant effect on the parameters of flowering age and the number of pods per plant. The application of chicken manure at doses of 10 tons/ha and 30 tons/ha showed similar effects on several parameters, such as earlier flowering time and an increase in the number of pods per plant. The eco-enzyme treatment had a significant effect on flowering time and the number of pods per plant. Eco-enzyme concentrations of 1.5% and 3% produced similar effects in terms of earlier flowering and increased number of pods per plant. The interaction between chicken manure and eco-enzyme treatments had a significant effect on the number of pods per plant, the number of seeds per pod, and the weight of 100 seeds.
