    Abstract
ENOS YOUHANDA TARIGAN Analysis of Determining Factors of Corn (Zea mays) Production in Kineppen Village Munte District Karo Regency Under the guidance of Mr. Dr. Ir Sinar Indra Kesuma M.Si. as Supervisor and Mrs. Siti Khadijah Hidayati Nasution SP, M.Si as Examiner. This study aims to determine the influence of the determinants of corn production based on technology and seedin Kineppen Village, Munte District, Karo Regency. The method used in this study is Descriptive Quantitative with a sample of 30 farmers. The data collection techniques used are secondary and primary. Secondary data is obtained from the internet and related agencies and primary data is obtained by interview and distributing questionnaires. Multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the factors that influence corn production are land area, use of technology and environmental adaptation. In multiple linear regression analysis, it shows that it provides information about the regression equation and whether or not there is an influence of the Land Area variable (X1), the Use of Agricultural mechanization variable (X2) and Seed(X3). The regression equation formula in this analysis or study is Y= -826+ 1,632X1 + 1,719X2 + 0,168X3. In addition, the The variables of land area (X1), Agricultural mechanization (X2), and seeds (X3) simultaneously (together) influence the production variable (Y) by 78.8%. Meanwhile, the remaining 21.2% is influenced by other variables outside this regression equation or variables not studied.
