Palm oil is the world's largest vegetable oil commodity. The utilization of palm oil empty fruit bunch and POME concentrate has not been optimized. This study aims to examine the effect of empty fruit bunch compost and POME concentrate on pre-nursery of palm oil. The study was conducted in the greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra, from January 2025 to June 2025. The study employed a Randomized complete Block Design with two treatment factors and three replications. The first factor was empty fruit bunch compost, with four levels: control (E0), 30 g/polybag (E1), 60 g/polybag (E2), and 90 g/polybag (E3). The second factor is POME concentrate with 4 levels: control (P0), 7. 5 g/polybag (P1), 15 g/polybag (P2), and 22. 5 g/polybag (P3). The observed parameters include plant height, stem diameter, leaf length, leaf area, chlorophyll content, and root length. The results showed that empty fruit bunch compost had a significant effect on plant height (7-16 WAP), stem diameter (6-16 WAP), leaf length (12-16 WAP), and leaf area (12-16 WAP), with the best treatment at the 90 g/polybag dose. The POME concentrate dose had no significant effect on all research parameters. The interaction between oil palm empty fruit bunch compost and POME concentrate had no significant effect on all parameters.
