| dc.description.abstract | Bukit Lawang, located in Langkat Regency, North Sumatra, is a renowned natural
tourism destination known for its scenic beauty and biodiversity, serving as the
main gateway to Gunung Leuser National Park. This study aims to identify and
describe the profile of Bukit Lawang's tourism attractions, including the presence
of Sumatran orangutans, jungle trekking, tubing on the Bahorok River, and
exploration of the Bat Cave. The research employs a descriptive qualitative
method, with data collected through direct observation, interviews with tourists
and local guides, and documentation studies. The findings indicate that Bukit
Lawang offers rich tourism attractions, supported by the 4A concept (Attractions,
Accessibility, Amenities, and Ancillary Services). The natural beauty, diverse flora
and fauna, and ecotourism activities are the primary factors attracting both
domestic and international tourists. This study provides theoretical insights into
natural tourism attractions and practical benefits as a foundation for tourism
managers and local governments to enhance sustainable destination management,
thereby supporting environmental conservation and local community welfare. | en_US |
