Pengaruh Literasi Keuangan dan Finansial Technology Terhadap Perilaku Keuangan Pribadi Mahasiswa D4 Perbankan Keuangan Fakultas Vokasi Universitas Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This research examines the influence of financial literacy and financial technology (fintech) on the personal financial behavior of D4 Financial Banking students at the Vocational Faculty of the University of North Sumatra. Through the survey method with 50 respondents, the research results showed that financial literacy did not have a significant effect on the financial behavior of students. However, the understanding and use of fintech has a positive and significant impact in shaping wiser financial behavior. This finding indicates the importance of integrating fintech education in the curriculum to support student financial management. This research provides recommendations to educational institutions and stakeholders to improve financial literacy and fintech utilization to improve students' financial decisions.
