| dc.description.abstract | Mobile snack stalls are places selling ready-to-eat food that use semi permanent and mobile equipment, such as carts, shoulder poles, or vehicles. This study aims to analyze the hygiene and sanitation of mobile snack stalls in class A1and A2 on Jalan Karya Wisata, Pangkalan Mansyur Village, Medan Johor District in 2025. The study used a descriptive survey method with a total sampling of 33 class A1 and A2 stalls. The characteristics of the respondents showed that most traders had secondary education junior high school/ senior high as many as 28 people (84,8%), aged 18–29 years as many as 15 people (45,5%), male gender as many as 22 people (66,6%), trading duration ≤2 years as many as 16 people (48,5%), trading duration ≤8 hours/day as many as 25 people (75,8%), and income ≤4,014,072 as many as 23 people (69,7%). The results showed that 22 outlets (66,7%) did not meet the total hygiene and sanitation assessment score based on Permenkes No. 17 of 2024, while only 11 outlets (33,3%) met it. It is recommended that traders improve the quality of food processing according to hygiene and sanitation provisions, and government agencies such as the Medan City Health Office increase supervision and socialization to street food vendors. | en_US |
