    Abstract
Broiler chickens are known for their high productivity in producing meat. Chicken farming often involves the use of antibiotics to support their growth, but excessive use can lead to antibiotic residues. As an alternative, many farmers areturning to phytobiotics, natural feed additives derived from plants with activeantibacterial ingredients that function to prevent disease and promote growth. One plant known to contain phytobiotics is the Batak onion. This study aims todetermine the ef ect of administering phytobiotics from boiled Batak onion water(Allium chinese G.don) on the performance of broiler chickens. The maintenancelasted for 35 days. The design used in this study was a Completely RandomizedDesign (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments used inthestudy were drinking water without phytobiotics from boiled Batak onion waterwith treatments P0 (control), P1 (drinking water + 15% phytobiotics fromboiledBatak onion water), P2 (drinking water + 20% phytobiotics fromboiled Batakonion water), P3 (drinking water + 25% phytobiotics from boiled Batak onionwater). The parameters observed were drinking water consumption, flavonoidconversion, feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion, and incomeover feed cost. The results showed that the administration of phytobiotics fromboiled Batak onion water to broiler chickens had a very significant ef ect (P<0.01) on drinking water consumption, flavonoid absorption conversion, and bodyweight gain, significantly (P<0.5) on feed consumption and feed conversion, while income over feed cost did not have a significant ef ect (P>0.05)
