The rapid development of information technology demands that high school students possess adequate information literacy skills to properly select and utilize information. This study aims to describe the stages of information literacy among eleventh-grade students at SMAN 1 Sunggal using the PLUS Model approach, which includes four indicators: Purpose, Location, Use, and Self-Evaluation. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method through the distribution of Likert-scale questionnaires to 80 randomly selected students. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques to determine students' response trends in each stage of the PLUS Model. The results showed that overall, the students' information literacy levels were in the "good" category. In the Purpose stage, students generally demonstrated the ability to identify the purpose of information searches but were not yet accustomed to systematically planning their search steps. In the Location stage, students showed competence in selecting information media and using search engines, but the utilization of academic sources such as scholarly journals remained low. The Use stage revealed that students were fairly capable of applying information to academic tasks, although source citation practices were still inconsistent. In the Self-Evaluation stage, students had begun to reflect on their information-seeking processes but were not yet fully confident in evaluating and refining their strategies. Overall, the findings indicate that students' information literacy is at a good level; however, improvements are needed in the use of academic sources, understanding of information ethics, and fostering continuous self-evaluation to help students develop into critical, independent, and responsible information users.en_US
