    Abstract
This research describes the lifestyle of the Vespa Extreme TBS (Tembung Belum Sembuh) community in Medan City. This community represents a subculture formed from shared interests and a spirit of freedom of expression through extreme Vespa modification. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and secondary sources from journals, Publish or Perish, books, PDF DRIVE, and Google Scholar. The findings indicate that the lifestyle of the Vespa Extreme TBS community emphasizes values of freedom, solidarity, and boundless creativity. The community’s response to negative public perceptions tends to be adaptive they accept societal judgments as a consequence of the lifestyle they choose, while simultaneously constructing a counter-narrative that behind the stigma lie values of togetherness, solidarity, and freedom of expression that they uphold. The community also serves as a space for its members to express themselves and build a sense of kinship. Although they have occasionally faced negative public images, the Vespa Extreme TBS community interprets such stigma as motivation to maintain their existence and counterculture identity. This research is expected to enrich subcultural studies in social anthropology and provide new insights into the dynamics of urban street community lifestyles.
