Abstract
The phenomenon of property among farmers is still widely found even though agricultural
development efforts have been made to increase farmers income. The relative average land
ownership of farmers also greatly influences farmer income. This income is one of the
benchmarsk for assessing the level of farmer welfare, which in turn becomes a benchmark for
agricultural development. There are 16 farmer groups in Wonosari Village and the Jati farmer
group is the farmer group that has the most members with 52 farmers and has the largest land area
among the 16 farmer groups with an area of 60 Ha so the total sample taken was 34 farmers.
The average land area of 34 farmers has 0,69 ha of rice land with an average total production of
4.642 kg at a price of IDR 6.276, so the average income of Wonosari rice farmers is IDR
29.056.762. The total costs incurred were IDR 8.216.577. The largest cost is the labor cost
component with an average amount of IDR 4.080.294 per farmer. Meanwhile, the lowest cost is
the cost of using diesel which is only IDR 177.000 per farmer. The average income of farmers in
Wonosari village is IDR 20.840.184 with an average land area of 0,69 hectares. The average
number of family dependents is 2,44. The amount of food consumption by rice farmers is IDR
7.355.212 with the largest consumption being the need for egg and milks which reaches IDR
1.839.706 while the smallest food consumption is the need herb amounting to IDR 177.247. The
proportion of non-food consumption of rice farmers in Wonosari village is IDR 2.809.824. So it
is known that the proportion of food for rice farmers in Wonosari Village is smaller than the
proportion of non-food. The average proportion of food is 73,35% and the proportion of non-food
consumption is 26,65%.
