The Effect Of Capital Adequacy Ratio, Bank Size, Credit Growth, And Operating Expenses Of Operating Income (Bopo) Against Non-Performing Loans (Npl) At Registered Banking Companies On The Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2019-2023.
Abstract
This study aims to find out and analyze the influence of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Bank Size, Credit Growth and Operating Income Operating Costs (BOPO) on non-performing loans (NPLs) in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This type of research is associative and the type of data used is quantitative. The population in this study is all banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023. The sample in this study amounted to 38 companies with a total of 190 observations. The sampling method in this study uses the purposive sampling method. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, and hypothesis test. The results of this study prove that partially, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Bank Size has a negative and significant effect on Non-Performing Loans, Credit Growth has no effect on Non-Performing Loans and Operating Expenses of Operating Income (BOPO) has a positive and significant effect on Non-Performing Loans, simultaneously Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Bank Size, Credit Growth and Operating Income (BOPO) affect Non-Performing Loans.
