Broiler chickens raised in a closed house system require litter as a floor covering. Litter serves as bedding, warmth, and can reduce floor humidity. Litter has great potential for use as feed. One processing method that can be used is fermentation using EM4 bioactivator. The use of EM4 in fermentation can increase the nutritional content of broiler litter. This study aims to determine the crude protein, crude fat, and crude fiber content of wood husk litter and broiler manure using various doses of EM4 fermenter. The design used in this study was a Completely Randomized Design with 5 treatments and 4 replications, with P0 (without EM4 dose), P1 (using a dose of 200 ml EM4/treatment), P2 (using a dose of 250 ml EM4/treatment), P3 (using a dose of 300 ml EM4/treatment) and P4 (using 350 ml EM4/treatment). The length of time required during fermentation was 3 weeks. Fermentation of broiler chicken litter and manure waste with different doses of EM4 fermentor at the test level (P <0.01) gave a very significant effect on the content of crude protein, crude fat and crude fiber. This study produced a crude protein value of 20.43%; crude fat 2.06%; crude fiber 25.07%. The treatment of EM4 fermentor with different doses was able to increase the crude protein content, decrease the levels of crude fat and crude fiber. Treatment P4 (350 ml) was the best treatment in this study.Broiler chickens raised in a closed house system require litter as a floor covering.
