With the thesis litle is The Role of Agricultural Extension in the Development of Rice Farmers Group Case Study: Desa Sei Beras Sekata, Kecamatan Sunggal, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Provinsi North Sumatra (Under the guidance of Mrs. Lindawati, a Supervisor Lecturer and Mr. Jufri as an Examiner Lecturer). This research aims to analyze the role of agricultural extension in the development of rice paddy farming groups in Sei Beras Sekata, Sunggal, Deli Serdang. The main focus of this study is measuring the extent to which extensionists play a role as facilitators, innovators, motivators, dynamizers, educators, and organizers in the development of farmer groups. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data analysis techniques in the form of the Correlation Test. The research results show that the role of extension workers in general is in a high category with a value of 70% and there is a significant relationship between the role of extension workers and the development of rice paddy farmers in the research area.
