Rice is a food crop that has an important role and benefits for human survival. Rice plants are rice-producing plants as a source of food for the Indonesian people who contribute to maintaining economic stability and national food security. One solution to meet national food needs is to use Superior Varieties. Crossbreeding is a way to expand genetic diversity, and combine desired characters from parents. This study aims to determine the ability of crossbreeding parents in forming F1 seeds from several crossbreeding combinations. This study was conducted in the screen house of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra at an altitude of pm \pm25 masl from January to July 2025. This study was conducted using the full diallel method using two cultivar parents (Black Sikak and Green Sikak) and the Inpari 32 variety. Crossbreeding of three parents was carried out using the hand pollination method. Crossbreeding involving 3 parents will produce 6 crossbreeding combinations. The results of the cross showed that the ability of crosses between cross parents to form F1 seeds was seen in the number of F1 seeds formed in several cross combinations. The number of F1 seeds formed ranged from 1.00-13.00 spikelets, with the highest percentage of F1 seeds formed being 26.00% found in the combination of Green Sikak cross Inpari 32 while the lowest percentage of F1 seeds formed was 2.00% found in the combination of Inpari 32 cross Black Sikak.
