This study analyzes the phenomenon of mixed code usage in Arabic in live streaming recordings of Ustażah Halimah Alaydrus' lectures on Instagram. The method of this study is descriptive qualitative with sociolinguistic analysis using the code-mixing theory proposed by Suandi (2014). Data collection was carried out using the observation and note-taking technique from two lecture videos entitled “Women Longed for by Heaven” and “Interpretation of the Qur'an: Surah Al-Mulk”. The results of this study found that there were 79 code-mixing data divided into three types, namely word code-mixing (39 data), phrase code-mixing (12 data), and clause code-mixing (29 data). The factors causing code-mixing included limitations in code usage, the use of more popular terms, the speaker and the speaker's personality, as well as function and purpose. The most common factor causing code-mixing was function and purpose, whereby Ustażah deliberately mixed Arabic with the aim of explaining Arabic expressions that are often used in prayers, expressions, and words frequently spoken by Muslims.
