Analisis Aspek Leksikal Dalam "Hikayat Bayan Budiman" Kajian Analisis Wacana

Abstract

This research aims to describe the forms of lexical aspects or cohesion in Hikayat Bayan Budiman. The researcher focused more on the subtitle of Hikayat Bayan Budiman, namely the Story of the Bayan Bird. There are several stories about the parrot, namely the story of the parrot whose feathers were plucked by a rich merchant and the story of the no-nonsense parrot according to the words of its mother and father. The forms of aspects or lexical cohesion that will be discussed include repetition, synonymy, antonymy and collocation. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The theory used in this research is Discourse Analysis. The data collection technique used in this research is the note-taking technique. The analysis technique used in this research is reading repeatedly the dialogue in the story Bayan. The results of the research showed that there were of 20 Tautotes repetitions. There are 24 synonyms consisting of 12 free and bound morpheme synonyms, 6 phrase-to-word synonyms, 6 phrase-to-phrase synonyms. There are 34 antonyms consisting of 10 absolute antonyms, 12 polar antonyms, 12 relationship antonyms. There are 6 collocations, namely 4 in the very related word patik and 2 in the word hikayat taifah.
