    Abstract
School dropout remains a serious issue in Indonesia, including in Nias Island, which faces economic challenges, early marriage, and the strong influence of patriarchal culture. These conditions limit access to education, especially for vulnerable groups. PKBM Ziona in Gunungsitoli City emerges as a non-formal education institution that offers alternative learning opportunities through its equivalency education programs. This study employs a qualitative approach and applies Peter L. Berger’s theory of social construction to examine the process of value internalization and to identify the values instilled in learners. The findings reveal that value internalization is carried out through five main strategies: (1) module-based learning; (2) online tutorials; (3) face-to-face learning; (4) the andragogical approach; and (5) local content integration. Through these strategies, values such as equal rights, independence, self-confidence, discipline, and tolerance are consistently embedded. These internalized values encourage learners to recognize the importance of education and assert their right to access it. The findings are expected to contribute to the field of educational anthropology and serve as practical references for developing more contextual and inclusive non- formal education programs.
