This study intend to identify and describe translation strategies in the translations of the animated film “Al- Khawārizmī”. It is based on the theory of translation strategies proposed by Hidayatullah. The research method used is descriptive and qualitative, with collection techniques, specifically listening and note-taking. In this research, there are translation strategies found with details: 5 parts in the strategy of prioritizing and ending (taqdim wa ta'khir), 10 parts in the addition strategy (increase), 2 part of deletion strategy (deletion), and 6 parts in the substitution strategy (replacement). This study concludes that translators employ a more comprehensive translation strategy, namely addition (increase). This indicates that translators tend to add certain elements to the translated text, resulting in longer translations and containing additional information unmatched in the source language.en_US
