Character Analysis Of The Main Characters In The Film مولانا /Maulana/
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the character of the main character (Sheikh Hatem) in the film مولانا /Maula<na</ using a literary psychology approach. This research is a library research study using a qualitative descriptive method, the approach used is a literary psychology approach using the psychoanalytic theory proposed by Sigmund Freud. Data were obtained from the conversations of the characters and the narrative in the film with a duration of 01 hour 56 minutes 58 seconds. The data collection technique used the listening and note-taking technique by Mahsun. And the total number of data is 39 data. The data in this study are divided into two, namely data in the form of screenshots and data in the form of conversations in film clips. The characters in the film مولانا /maula<na</ include Id, Ego and Super Ego. The Id character of the main character (Sheikh Hatem) was obtained with a total of 5 data, including his sadness over the disaster that befell him, his joy when playing football, and his anxiety because he was detained in a cell. The Ego character of the main character (Sheikh Hatem) was obtained with 14 data, including when he was not serious in responding to other people's questions, cursing his driver, and being forced to urinate carelessly. The Super Ego character of the main character (Sheikh Hatem) was obtained with 20 data, including when he interacted with his congregation, treated Hasan's hand, avoided kisses from women who were not his mahram, and so on. It can be concluded that the character of the main character (Sheikh Hatem) in the film مولانا /Maula<na</ is a kind, charismatic, and inspiring character, the main character (omayma) in the film مولانا /Maula<na</ is a caring and loving character, and the main character (hasan) in the film مولانا /Maula<na</ is an angry and emotional character.
