| dc.description.abstract | The animated film “Abdullah Ibnul Mubarak” tells the story of the Al-Mubarak family, a very honest gardener who never ate pomegranates from the garden without his employer's permission. This honesty led his employer to marry his daughter to Al-Mubarak, and from this marriage was born Abdullah Ibn Mubarak, a tabi'in who became a role model in various aspects of life. This film displays a variety of emotions from the characters in the animated film. The main issues raised in this study are: What are the types of emotions in animated films and what factors influence the complexity of the emotions of the characters in these animated films? Additionally, what are the consequences of differences in emotions between characters, especially regarding the emergence of conflicting emotions in some characters? This study aims to identify and classify the types of emotions that appear in animated films, as well as analyze the factors that influence the complexity of the characters' emotions. Additionally, this study also aims to analyze the impact of emotional differences between characters, particularly how conflicting emotions emerge in certain characters and how this affects the story's dynamics. The methodology used in this study is descriptive qualitative research with a literary psychology approach. The main theoretical framework is David Krech's (1969) emotion classification theory, which categorizes emotions into four categories: basic emotions, emotions related to sensory experiences, emotions related to self-evaluation, and emotions related to others. The results of the study indicate that the dominant emotions of each character vary, with a tendency toward basic emotions, emotions related to others, emotions related to self-evaluation, and finally emotions related to sensory experiences. | en_US |
