This study aims to optimize the CO₂ laser cutting process in the manufacture of implant tissue plates used for fracture fixation in the human skull. The design of the implant tissue plate was modified to be more compatible with the anatomical geometry and minimize the risk of additional injury. The optimization method used is Taguchi-Grey Relational Analysis (GRA), which allows the identification of the best combination of cutting parameters to produce optimal product quality. The results showed that the optimal combination of cutting parameters was 360 W power, 40 mm/min cutting speed, 0.5 mm nozzle distance, 6 Pa gas pressure, and 1 mm material thickness. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) indicated that material thickness had the greatest contribution to cutting quality, especially in reducing dimensional deviations and the number of burrs formed. Confirmation experiments showed an increase in Grey Relational Grade (GRG) of 11.26%, which proved the effectiveness of the optimization method applied. These findings have important implications for the development of laser cutting-based manufacturing techniques for medical applications, especially in the production of high-precision implants. Further studies are recommended to evaluate the mechanical characteristics of the implant after insertion and to examine the effect of variations in other parameters on the long-term performance of the implant.en_US
