dc.description.abstractGarlic in Indonesia is an important vegetable used as a spice in cooking. This plant grows in highland soil, although certain varieties can grow in lowlands. Slicing garlic in the community still uses human hands which takes longer and has a high risk of accidents. With the presence of a garlic slicing machine, it is hoped that it can help the performance of the community in slicing garlic. The purpose of this study is to test the best pulley with parameters of effective tool capacity, yield, wasted materials and economic analysis. From the research results, the best effective capacity of the tool is 35.97 kg/hour, 92% yield, 6.6% wasted material and economic analysis of BEP Rp360,072 Kg/year, NPV Rp106,925,411.1 /year and IRR 42.71% which states that this machine is worthy of being traded because it provides benefits.en_US
