    Abstract
This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence the level of social cohesion between the Raider 100/PS Battalion of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the residents of Namu Sira-Sira Village, Langkat Regency. This phenomenon is important because the presence of TNI Raider 100/PS in the area does not only function in terms of defense and security but also plays a social role in building community relations. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method to examine the forms of social relations between TNI Raider 100/PS and the villagers of Namu Sira-Sira by analyzing the factors influencing social cohesion between the two parties and describing the contribution of social activities in strengthening solidarity and togetherness. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with community leaders, local residents, and TNI Raider 100/PS personnel, supported by field observations and documentation of joint social activities. The research focuses on three main activities: mutual cooperation gotong royong, food distribution, and social services. The findings show that gotong royong activities carried out jointly by TNI Raider 100/PS and the villagers play an important role in increasing the intensity of social interactions. Such collective activities foster a sense of togetherness and strengthen solidarity between the military and civilians. The study further reveals that social cohesion between TNI Raider 100/PS and the people of Namu Sira-Sira Village is formed through intensive social interactions, collective participation in social activities, and the development of mutual trust and support. The implications of this study highlight that social cohesion between the military and the community can serve as important social capital to strengthen social stability, enhance humanitarian relations, and foster a sense of security and harmony within society.
