    Abstract
    Kho Ping Hoo's novel Harta Karun Jenghis Khan (The Treasure of Genghis Khan) depicts the struggles of the Chinese-Indonesian community in facing discrimination and oppression of their identity during the New Order regime (1966–1998). The background of this research is based on the lack of comprehensive narrative studies of Kho Ping Hoo's works, particularly in the context of the socio-political history experienced by the Chinese ethnic group. This study aims to describe the narrative structure in the novel, such as the theme, plot, characters, characterization, setting, point of view, style, and message in Kho Ping Hoo's novel Harta Karun Jenghis Khan. The method used is qualitative descriptive using Seymour Chatman's narratology theory. The results of the study indicate that this novel not only presents a story of adventure and treasure hunting but also raises themes of justice, courage, loyalty, and the impact of greed. Characters such as Ceng Thian Sin and Toan Kim Hong depict strong personalities that reflect resilience against oppression. Geographical and social settings such as the city of An-keng and the Beng-san Mountains enhance the adventurous atmosphere while also hinting at the Chinese cultural contex
