    Abstract
The foundation is the lowest part of a building's structure and plays a critical role in supporting the entire load of the building and other imposed loads, transferring them down to a firm soil stratum. To ensure a structure stands firmly, the foundation must be carefully designed with precise calculations regarding its dimensions and analysis. In the Binjai-Langsa Toll Road Development Project, at Borehole 48R STA 29+687, differing ultimate bearing capacity results were obtained due to the use of various analysis methods. Based on SPT data using Meyerhof's method, a result of 653.65 tons was obtained. Meanwhile, from pile driving data, calculations using the ENR method yielded 2889,336 tons, the Danish method 1041 tons, and the Hiley method 1204,412 tons. In contrast, a calculation using the Finite Element Method with the aid of PLAXIS V.20 software, based on the Mohr-Coulomb model, showed a value of 478.33 tons. The analysis of the foundation's ultimate lateral bearing capacity using Broms' method yielded a result of 65.13 tons analytically and 70.47 tons graphically, with an insignificant difference between the two. The pile group efficiency value, calculated using the Converse-Labarre formula, reached 0.68. The elastic settlement of a single pile is 18.7 mm. Based on the Poulos and Davis method (end bearing), the settlement is 2.7 mm and the settlement of the pile group using the Vesic method was 61.04 mm. Meanwhile, the analysis results using the Finite Element Method with PLAXIS V.20 software show a settlement of 13.54 mm under a load of 165 tons. Keywords: Bearing Capacity, Settlement, SPT (Standard Penetration Test), Pile Driving, Finite Element Method, Pile Group Efficiency.
