Pelaksanaan Skrining Tuberkulosis Paru di Puskesmas Paringgonan Kabupaten Padang Lawas Tahun 2025

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is a public health problem that is a global challenge, to avoid cases of Tuberculosis. Based on WHO data, the TB incident was recorded at 133 per 100,000 (9.6 million people) while one million people died from the disease (CFR 16%). TB control efforts in Indonesia have been carried out since 2000 but there are still many problems in the control efforts. The Indonesian Ministry of Health in the National Strategy for Controlling TB in Indonesia 2020-2025 explained several problems in the handling of the TB program that still occur, such as the large number of people with TB or TB symptoms who have not/do not access health services. Based on information obtained in 2024, a total of 30 positive Pulmonary TB sufferers have been recorded at the Paringgonan Health Center. This study aims to determine the implementation of pulmonary tuberculosis screening at the Paringgonan Padang Lawas Health Center in 2025. This type of research is descriptive, the number of informants in this study was 4 people. The results of this study indicate that there is no isolation room for TB patients, lack of funds in implementing TB programs, lack of availability of health workers in implementing TB programs, TB screening still reaches 60%. The suggestions given to the Padang Lawas Health Service can provide a budget to each Health Center so that the specified programs can run well, bestari petisah related to the lack of budget funds.
