This study aims to analyze the effect of water, oil, and air cooling methods on the mechanical properties and microstructure of SMAW welding results on ST 37 steel material. Three types of tests were conducted, namely tensile tests, Vickers hardness tests, and microstructure tests. The results showed that the cooling medium significantly affected the tensile strength, hardness, and microstructure shape. Cooling using oil provided the highest tensile strength 424,19 N/mm², while cooling using water produced the highest hardness 179 HV. The microstructures formed varied from pearlite, bainite to martensite, depending on the cooling medium used. This study contributes to the optimization of welding processes in industrial applications.en_US
