    Abstract
Students often face high academic pressure, especially during the Final Semester Examination (UAS), which demands strong focus, energy, and productivity. One common strategy used by students to enhance concentration and reduce drowsiness is coffee consumption. Coffee, with its caffeine content, is known as a stimulant that affects the central nervous system and supports improved cognitive performance. The increasing trend of coffee consumption among students during exams highlights the need for further research on its relationship with work productivity. This study aims to determine the effect of coffee consumption on student work productivity during UAS. A quantitative approach was used, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to active students of the 2022 cohort in the Computer Science Program at the University of Sumatera Utara. A total of 30 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. The results of simple linear regression analysis indicate a positive and significant effect of coffee consumption on student productivity, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) and a t-value of 4.121 (> t-table 2.048). This indicates that measured coffee consumption can contribute to improving students' academic productivity, especially in completing tasks and effectively facing examinations. This research contributes to understanding the role of caffeine consumption on learning performance and may serve as a basis for students, educational institutions, and coffee industry stakeholders to promote healthy and productive consumption patterns.
