dc.description.abstractResearch purposes is building a relationship model water quality and diversity phytoplankton in rivers Belawan. Stages of research methods , found types phytoplankton plankton, Abundance (K), Abundance Relative (KR), Frequency Presence (FK), Uniformity (E), and Diversity (H), and analysis water quality (Temperature , Light Penetration , Light Intensity , Depth , Speed Current , Salinity, pH, DO, Percent Saturation Oxygen , BOD and COD , purposive sampling method was taken at 5 different locations . with 3 times in the river Belawan in 2020 and 2021. The results obtained is Phytoplankton obtained as many as 22 genera. Index Phytoplankton Diversity (HI) is classified as diversity low , and pollution light ( Index Saprophytic and Palmer Method). Based on MENLH No. 51 of 2004 in 2020, Nitrate , Nitrite and Phosphate own mark on standard standard quality , except Ammonia . In 2021 Nitrate and Phosphate own mark on standard standard quality , while Nitrite and Ammonia Still under standard standard quality. In 2020 metal The weight of Lead (Pb), Copper (Cu), Iron (Fe), Cadmium (Cd), and Mercury (Hg) has mark under standard threshold PPRI quality No. 22, while in 2021 metal The weight of Lead (Pb), Copper (Cu), and Mercury (Hg) has mark on standard threshold quality , while Iron (Fe), Cadmium (Cd), have mark under standard threshold quality . DO and Cadmium (Cd) have a very strong effect to diversity phytoplankton (2020), Penetration Light , Lead (Pb) and Cadmium (Cd) have a very strong influence to diversity phytoplankton (2021), Management model river Belawan based on water quality status and diversity phytoplankton is : = 1.19 + 0.09 1 − 0.0015 3 − 0.11 6 2 = 81.37 (2020) and = 1.09 + 0.27 1 + 0.001 2 2 = 42.27 (2021)en_US
